Dr. Klafter has extensive experience speaking regionally, nationally and internationally in four types of venues:
1. To psychiatrists, psychotherapists, psychoanalysts, mental health agencies, and organizations on psychotherapy theory and technique, as well as the diagnosis and treatment of various mental disorders and syndromes, including trainings, workshops, lectures, case conferences, and panel discussions. 
2. To hospitals, and medical practices, and other health care organizations on topics in mental health and psychiatry of interest to non-psychiatric physicians whose in the course of their medical practice encounter patients suffering from emotional difficulties and mental disorders.
3. To religious leaders and lay communal leaders on pastoral counseling, issues in the intersection of religion and mental health, parenting, family, and relationships counseling. managing boundaries with congregants, and religious outreach.
4. To schools, communal organizations, churches, and synagogue organizations on a variety of educational, religious, social, and psychological topics.

Dr. Klafter has also provided numerous consultations for organizations and institutions, including the following services:

  • Leadership training, board development, and organizational restructuring for non-profit institutions such as schools, synagogues, mental health agencies.

  • Assessment of child safety  policies, reporting policies, and abuse prevention for schools, camps, and youth groups

  • Mediation and conflict resolution for organizations and groups who are negotiating disputes, leadership transitions, or other complex changes.

  • Professional boundaries for business and organizations providing services to the public.

  • Legal consultation, including expert witness testimony
